Format of the drive
The Lavasa Women’s Drive (henceforth called the ‘drive’ or the ‘event’) will run in Time/Speed/Distance (TSD) format on a non-cumulative basis, and will run in compliance with the International Sporting Code (and its appendices), the applicable rules and regulations: "National Competition Rules (NCR) of The Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI), the Autorités Sportives Nationales (ASN) of Federation Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) in India, the International Sporting Code of the FIA, and the Lavasa Women's Drive Supplementary Rules and Regulations, 2009. Modifications, amendments and/or changes to these Supplementary Regulations will be announced only by numbered and dated bulletins by the organizers.
 
Terms and Conditions
Every person or group of persons, organizing the drive and/or event or taking part therein:
Shall be deemed to be acquainted with the International Sporting Code of the FIA.
All participants must sign the indemnity and declaration, which are enclosed with the Entry Form
These are the conditions precedent attached to the submission of entries and taking part in the drive and/or event and all participants participating in the drive and/or event shall be bound by them and also the rules and regulations hereinafter set out or amendments made thereto.
Shall undertake to submit themselves without reserve to the above and to the decisions and the consequences resulting there from.
 
Rights and Obligations of the Organizer
The organizer may issue any Competitor Information Bulletins (CIBs) and / or written instructions to competitors at any time with the approval of FMSCI / Stewards. Written instructions when issued shall be signed by each competitor / entrant as proof of receipt and shall have the same legal force as these supplementary regulations. All CIBs will be communicated via dated and sequentially numbered bulletins. These bulletins shall have the force and will constitute an integral part of these regulations and will be posted at the official notice board. As far as possible, the CIBs shall be brought to the notice of the individual competitors. However it is the responsibility of the competitor and / or entrant to acquaint themselves with the CIBs and / or written instructions posted at the official notice board/s. The provisions of the present regulations may only be amended according to Art.67 of the FMSCI Sporting Code. The organizing committee and the stewards of the meeting reserve the right to amend the prescriptions of the present regulations according to the circumstances and cases which arise. Competitors will be informed of any amendments as soon as possible. Any amendments / additional provisions will be announced by dated and sequentially numbered bulletins which are an integral part of these regulations. These bulletins will be posted at the official notice boards and will also be directly communicated to the competitors.
The Stewards of the Meeting are empowered to take a decision on any case not covered by the present regulations.
The interpretations of these regulations and decisions regarding any unforeseen circumstances shall rests with the Steward/s of the meeting.
The organizers may at their discretion abandon, cancel or postpone the event in case of unforeseen circumstances as per Art.61 of the Sporting Code of the FMSCI.
Under no circumstances will an entry to this event be refused without assigning proper reasons thereof The organizers and / or the Clerk of the Course may appoint Judges of Fact, whom have to be named either in the Supplementary Regulations or in a CIB along with a specific duty of what is to be judged.
 
Amendments to the Regulations
 
Amendments to these regulations may only be made as per Sporting Code and NCR of FMSCI. The participants would be informed of any amendments as soon as possible. Any amendments / additional provisions would be announced via dated & sequentially numbered bulletins – which form an integral part of these Supplementary Regulations; printed on Yellow Papers. These bulletins will be posted at the official notice boards and shall also be communicated to the participants.
The stewards of the drive and/or event are empowered to take a decision on any case not covered by the present regulations.
The Organizers may, at their discretion abandon, cancel or postpone the drive and/or event, in case of unforeseen circumstances.
Any decision taken by the Organizers for the drive and/or event shall be treated as final and binding on all the participants.
The Stewards of the drive and/or event and/or the Clerk of the Course reserves the right to delete and/or change any part of the route should they deem it necessary due to FORCE MAJEURE or for any other safety reason.
The Organizers reserve the right to refuse the entry of any participant at their discretion without reason for such a refusal.
 
Route Details
The route would be disclosed at the time of the start of the Drive and/or event (about one minute before start) and would be from Mumbai to Lavasa, Pune via NH4 / Mumbai Pune Expressway.
The maximum average speed for any section (speed block) of the Drive and/or event will not exceed 45 Kmph on city roads/highways and 70 KMPH expressways (not exceeding normal road speed limits on any stretch on the route of the Drive and/or event). This is on grounds of safety. The maximum distance event would cover would be approximately 225 Kms from Mumbai to Lavasa. Event ends at Lavasa.
Every Minute two vehicles will be flagged off. The initial portion of the route will be different for odd & even numbered vehicles. The same is being done to reduce the total start duration at Venue.
The Road Book will contain the information regarding the route to be followed and various distances. The location of marshal points WILL NOT be disclosed in the road book. Only one copy of the Road Book will be made available at the Start Time.
Participants must report at every control in the order and direction in which the controls have been scheduled by the Organizers. Any infringement may entail exclusion.
 
Document Submission
Valid Driving License (Driver & navigator).
 
- 2 Passport size photographs of each lady participant.
 
- Vehicle Registration Book.
 
- Tax Book of the Vehicle.
- Vehicle Insurance Policy
 
- Authority letter from owner of the vehicle if First Driver / Second Driver are not the owner of the vehicle used in Drive and/or event.
 
- Valid Pollution under Control Certificate (PUC) of the vehicle.
 
- The Participants are required to carry all the above documents in original throughout the Drive and/or Event.
- One Day Rally Insurance.
 
Starting Orders
The Starting Order will be determined by the Organizers after all valid entries are accepted. Two vehicles will be flagged off at 1 minute interval.
